On the 17th of April Ben raced his way around Kadina dirt kart club. this night turned out to be an eventful one when Ben was placed in the field of KT lights.

The rain early that morning gave the track a much heavier feel to it before it became rough. Ben being the dirver he is adjusted to the track conditions to pull of two heat wins a second and a third to put the #41 DFR/Lightning Chassis of the front row of the final. Disbury had gained enough points through out the night to pull the DFR #41 into victory lane.

While the winning feeling was still in the blood for Ben both boys entered strath kart club on 1st of May to contest the 2011 South Australian dirt kart titles.

High standards were set for Ben and Jack in the Junior Heavy division as big names from across Australia came to try and Claim victory.

The first of two days was filled with many highs and lows for the Disbury Family Racing team, with jack having a Dnf in his first heat that was out of his control, this put more pressure on his shoulders to perform better in the up and coming heats.

With Ben coming from the back of the pack to end up a strong 7th in his first heat gave a little boost for him going into the next heat, from there the day went down hill as Ben was involved in a huge accident sending him flipping down the from straight at that point he lost any chance of finishing on the podium as both classes had full fields of 18+

To surprise of DFR young jack started 7th in Jr Heavy final and Ben starting out of 18th in Kt Medium, the last seat on the bus but at least he made it.

Both boys have made it extremely far in their short racing careers of only two years and the next race meeting for both boys is back at Kadina this Saturday night and on at Adelaide Dirt Kart Club on the Sunday.
